So I was in Manhattan having lunch with a with a friend who was briefly in town and I stopped by a record store in the Lower East Side called Rotten Island Records – and I found a copy of the Black Unity Trio‘s ground-breaking album Al-Fatihah. Yes – it’s the recent re-issue, but still….
