RoCM Playlist: 28 Jan 2023
So while I am still fairly sad over the departure of Marta from the KCSB schedule this programming quarter, I am very happy to learn that longtime KCSB programmer Bernard Hits has returned to the airwaves. Bernard started programming at KCSB – and this is from memory so it may even be longer – in the early 1980s and his show Ital Sounds had a 35 year run before he went on hiatus in 2018. His return is excellent news and you should definitely check out his show on Sundays @ noon.
Bernard is also a great guy and was honored in the Santa Barbara Independent as a local hero back in 1999.
Welcome back, Bernard – and here’s the playlist for today’s show…

I somehow screwed up the timing this week so no Tom Waits or Tom Lehrer to close out their respective hours, but there is always next week. I’m only human, after all.
Don’t forget that you can listen online at KCSB-FM’s website and there’s an online archive available for two weeks after the show airs.
