RoCM Playlist: 04 May 2024
A slightly different playlist for this week, as we delve into some a slightly different style of jazz than normal. The Marshall Trammell / Rob Magill Duo and the Joy Guidry are really interesting – and I highly recommend checking those folks out. There are some standard here as well – Bobby Few, Muhal Richard Abrams, and Rahsaan Roland Kirk are folks we’ve heard from before. It’s a solid show, but there are definitely some different sounds than I normally play.
