RoCM Playlist End Of The Year Editon: 28 Dec 2024

The final playlist for 2024 as we close out the year with some of my personal favorite tunes.

I don’t have a lot to say this week but I do want to thank everyone who has tuned into the show over the last 12 months. I have no idea what is in store for 2025, and I wouldn’t exactly say that I am feeling overly optimistic – but I hope to keep doing the show and I hope you all keep tuning in.

And a special shout out to Joe Woodard of The Santa Barbara Independent for including RoCM in his “On The Beat” column in the “Top Ten Left-of-the-805-Dial Radio Shows” section. It was nice to know someone is listening.

As promised during the show, here is the live performance of the Marc Ribot Trio at the 2011 Festival D’Jazz de Nevers.

Don’t forget that you can listen to the RoCM online at KCSB-FM’s website and there’s an online archive available for two weeks after the show airs. Happy New Year, eveyone.
