RoCM Playlist: 27 July 2024
So what a week, huh?
This week, a quick tribute to Bernice Johnson Reagon – founding member of the Freedom Singers as well as Sweet Honey in the Rock – who passed away on July 16th. We also hear from the Die Like A Dog Quartet, Henry Threadgill, and very cool track by Cooper-Moore and Alan Braufman. I had to skip the Tom Waits this week but we still have a lot of great music.
Here’s the playlist. Don’t forget that you can listen online at KCSB-FM’s website and there’s an online archive available for two weeks after the show airs.
