RoCM Playlist: 11 May 2024
This week, we celebrate the birthdays of Gary Peacock (b. May 12, 1935) and Carla Bley (b. May 11, 1936). The Carla Bley track is from a live performance in Germany that largely consists of tracks that were also found on the album European Tour 1977. The Gary Peacock track is from an amazing album called New York Eye and Ear Control, which is the soundtrack to an experimental film of the same name by Michael Snow – which you can see below due to the wonders of the internet.
